“ Foz’s Fish Bar in Failsworth is a great choice to grab gluten-free fish and chips, served on the first Wednesday of every month. The gluten-free menu is great and has many options, including fish, chips, curry sauce, gravy, chicken goujons, and more. The staff in the shop are friendly and helped explain the wait for gluten-free fish, which I’m happy to wait for as they prepare everything fresh and safely to prevent the risk of cross-contamination. The gluten-free fish is great; the batter is super crispy, and the fish is of great quality. The seasoning is on point. I’ve had both the curry and the gravy before — the curry has a nice kick to it, and the gravy is rich and thick, so both are excellent choices to go with the fish. The sausage is also great, especially the battered sausage, which combines the good-quality sausage with the crispy batter. The pricing is super reasonable, too — it’s good value for money and cheaper than most other chippies I’ve tried. I would love to see them be able to offer gluten-free options more often, although I do understand it can be harder and more expensive for the business, as there have been many days I’ve been unable to order food and have had to wait for a month. ”

My son really enjoyed the homemade steak pie too. Great portion sizes, just under £30 to feed a family of 5 is a bargain and we had food left over. I will definitely be returning. ”
